AD, I am a firm believer that in contrarian bets, one has to be able to make 3 progressively larger plays. The market will almost surely go against the opening move. So when the price becomes more extreme, one should press the play. Then, finally, when the market goes with ones position. and the total trade is profitable, the last increment should be bet.
