Just checked something called Nelson's Consensus Earnings Estimate Database: www1.wsrn.com

CTEC is expected to earn $0.53 this year, which I assume means CTEC's fiscal year which ends March 1998. The 1999 estimate is $0.85, which is similar to the $0.90 estimate Zacks posted a while back.

If those numbers are even remotely in the ballpark, then CTEC's earnings growth would be at least 60% year-to-year between 1998 and 1999. For this kind of growth, a P/E of 30 is very conservative. And at 30 times earnings, we could see CTEC at 16 by next March and 27 by March 1999.

I can't believe that CTEC won't get a takeover bid, poison pill or no poison pill, sometime in the next 12 - 18 months.

CTEC is my ONLY long-term holding. Alexa, it's good to know that CTEC's employees and their families have such faith in the company's future.
