I see, by your persistent ability to give interesting names to your perceived enemies, I take it that you consider yourself to be in the 'fast-thinker/bright-bulb' camp right?
Not that I think you do not have a right to your opinion, in fact, I would fight to the death (well, ok, at least to some moderate physical injury) to preserve your right to hold your opinions, no matter how much I disagree with them. This concept is possibly totally alien to you though.
As for the economic gain of dropping ordinance on innocent iraqis, where is the material gain from that? First, it turns the iraqis against the US. Second, there is no tactical gain militarily. Third, the average pilot today knows that dropping a bomb on the wrong target has consequences on him personally, and last, I doubt that the average soldier fighting for american interests are out to kill innocent civilians.
On the infrastructure though, I agree with you.
