Please help me understand why "we" {US} HAVE to manage internal affairs (situations as you call it) of other countries.


You are quick to catch this type of assertion - lack of respect for boundaries. "Situations to manage" is an inherent part of relationship. We are defined by our dialog not by our boundaries. Saudi Arabia, Iran and Pakistan have "situations to manage" in America and they do just that.

We all try to bend others to our will all the time. Sometimes we are straight up with it and other times we are covert and manipulative with it. Sometimes we attempt to influence and aspire other times we cajole and control.
