It is the continuing error of the neoconservatives to assume that Bush is not a moron, and that he therefore must be in possession of some plan to get himself out of the corner into which he's painted himself. (By the way, the phrase "painted into corner" is slowly increasing in frequency to match "regime change", LOL, but I'll put it up as a separate post.)

Okay. We all know who it was that said "Read my lips, no new taxes". Do you really think that the acorn falls so far from the tree? Hey, it's typical for conservatives to believe that intelligence is inherited, so what's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.
