Mmmmm I remember the 70's this is nothing like it, inflation was rampent. If the consumer doesn't step up and start buying, prices will be driven down. Greenspan can print all he want, but he's not putting any in my hands, so I can't use it for buying purposes. But you may be right, but I see housing prices coming down, not going higher. I see auto sales flat, therefore auto prices will come down, lot's of people replaced ahead of their schedule last year with zero financing. The large tickets items are "overbought", I think the fed is pushing on a rope.
