I think I am prone to agree, reducing my estimate on the chance for war to about 60%. The tide has turn markedly against Bush, I think. War would be a huge gamble even with support, but as support steadily dwindles (and I think it is because many liberals are pushing effectively against this president) I think Bush's resolve will lessen.

I also think North Korea put him a bit off-balance and that Pakistan threatens to do likewise, albeit to a much lesser degree. The upshot is, Bush will probably pull back a bit.

As for me, I STILL think he should hammer Saddam. Knock his friggin' head clean off!
