No add on expenses. Just $12 + the sec. fee (few cents). That's why I liked Waterhouse - no fine print. I think sweep account interest rate is 4.85%. Have not checked this recently. You can trade BB stocks. There may be additional charges for penny stocks. Not sure what you mean when you refer to fileing fees. Give them a call. They'll answer your questions way better than I could. Try out the web broker demo to see if you like it. Press the web broker button at: waterhouse.com They also have commission schedules somewhere on their waterhouse home page. Boy E-Trade is bad isn't it? There are boards on SI about how bad their service is. There also is a board on SI about Waterhouse. You might want to compare the responses on the boards.
