Yeah, everyone who does not agree with you must be wrong, hmm?
Has it occured to you that perhaps HRW, International Justice Commission, Kofi Annan, Jimmy Carter, myself, and others criticising the Bush administration on their behaviour of late actually WANT to see America triumph in this war? Could it possibly be that we are pointing out shortcomings in their attitude that benefit their opponents as constructive criticism?
The HRW report doesn't hold water
The report in question is the group's annual survey of human rights issues worldwide, and as such, is not supposed to "hold water", but to give an account of its observations.
Of course, you can choose to believe that they are lying. Or something.
HRW has a skewed sense of where terrorism is bred.
Oh really? As opposed to Bush's "sense" that operates without proof ("There are close ties between Al-Qaeda and Iraq but we can't prove it"), as well as half-truths and all-out lies (http://www.cnet.com/investor/news/newsitem/0-9900-1028-20472739-0.html)?
The report talks about POPULAR SUPPORT for terrorists, which is growing. You might like to listen to this criticism from Human Rights Watch, which is not exactly the enemy here... |
