What if they grabbed the wrong guy?

Even if they grabbed the "right" guy, hopefully they'd go to jail. I'm not speaking hypothetically; that type of behavior is, and should be, illegal. As I told Lazarus, that example serves to indicate my degree of comfort with respect to government power. It's not a proposal.

At least the DP has safeguards that assure the right guy is grabbed.

LOL! Nothing is "assur[ed]." In fact, you said it yourself:

"There are 7,000 possibly innocent. In fact, everyone is possibly innocent."

If 7,000...or 23...or 3...or 1 person executed are possibly innocent, or may turn out to be later, I personally don't feel any "assur[ance]" that the "right people have been grabbed."
