According to Wolfgang Engelmann, the Delphi Customer Director for Volkswagen, "This order, with a total revenue of $135 million, means that Delphi has now gained additional responsibility for another important area of supply at Europe's largest vehicle manufacturer."

Delphi supplies ECUs and security sub-systems to the majority of European and US vehicle manufacturers. These products are characterized by their especially low weight, optimized design and simple installation.

"Delphi is excited at being able to expand its business relationships with Volkswagen," said Engelmann. "We will do our utmost to foster this excellent cooperation with Europe's market leader."
