Hmmmm.....You want to leave this up the states, right?

(Although I admit I fail to understand this logic. Making murder a crime wouldn't be optional for a state these days; the Feds would soon rule that the state was allowing the victim's civil rights to be violated and intervene.)

But that actually isn't a bad idea.

Because there's not a snowball's chance in Hades it would be made illegal in CA. One of the GOP's favorite ways of committing hari kari in this state is to run some old doctrinaire anti-abortion candidate and watch him sink without a trace.

But your solution would do wonders for this state's moribund economy as droves of women poured in to get the safe abortions they couldn't in their own states.
