just like i was awful cocky with that retrace last year in april on zeev's thread when everybody was looking for one more run over 2000 and the 1387 sept was "the" bottom.... you mean cocky like that....<ggg> heck....you fought the retrace all last year..... one good thing about that retrace.....i watched who went against it and learned who to fade...... whats the big deal anyway.....800 is my down target....its a long ways from here......plenty of time to get short..... but that rally to 1700 would be the "last" one like it....ain't no more coming after that.... might as well plan for the upside.....thats the only unknown.....i know the downside and can jump on that train any old time.... i have guidelines set up that should tell me within 50 pts or so if that plan should be toasted...... last year on the retrace....i only was messed up with my guidelines from 1280-1347 nasdaq.....that was the make or break point in the retrace after it traced down near perfect from 1759 to 1100.....the low at 1108 was called on a bradley turn with a ramp back up over 1200's into options week.... the 1347 broke....retrace over....no more shorts... went long playing crap in early november....trend changed....no more thoughts of shorts except intraday since..... trend is still bull till a certain thing breaks down.....until then...crap is running...plenty of long plays there......and if things don't play out to the upside....i'll still get a good 500 pt short down...... but one thing i won't get....i won't get toasted shorting up to 1700's.....and i can live with that....<ggg>
