SAN DIEGO, Nov 14, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Royale Energy Inc. (ROYL) today reported results from Operations for the third quarter ended September 30, 2002.
For the three months ended September 30, 2002, the company reported net income of $129,004 or $.03 per basic share and $.02 per diluted share for third quarter 2002 as compared to $513,216 or $.10 per diluted share during the same period the prior year. The company reported a net loss for the nine months ended September 30, 2002, of $369,645 or $.07 per fully diluted share as compared to $5,321,798 or $1.00 per diluted share for the nine months ended 2001. The decrease in earnings was mainly the result of lower natural gas prices when compared to third quarter 2001. |
