This is sort of an appendage to the Dubya thread, isn't it ... aargh, i never thought of that, endless one-line jabs posing as comment but really a post-modern kind of dance You two are distorting LPS5's position ... which is, if i may take the liberty of paraphrasing it, that the state should and must be held to a higher standard than is the individual citizen ... like, duh ... nowhere did he advocate vigilantism Btw, i heard yesterday that the cost of imprisonment in the US is around usd40k per prisoner per annum ... cost of capital crimes trial roughly usd3m, non-capital criminal trials roughly one-third that or less .. 'maybe half a million' ..... this from a guy with some degree of knowledge in the matter, he is a crown prosecutor here
