The GOP will repudiate Bush by the end of the year.

Don't think this will happen at all, unless things get historically whacked and that the events all stick to Bush. The President is still pretty dang popular and folks seem to wish him well.

If Iraq goes ill, the now seminal anti-war movement will become full-blown, and Bush will have a seriously difficult time maintaining a positive image.

The economy too. If the thing tanks significantly, Bush will be forced to stimulate short-term, because Americans just do not have the courage and discipline to wait, save, prepare.

I think Dems suspect a rocky future by 04. That is why so many now plan to run for the presidency. I mean Lieberman? Dang! The guy ain' got a chance. He's too friggin' ugly. But he thinks he will be a badly needed voice of calm reason and that that will get him in.
