Agreed. Under the usual contractual arrangement, a company would be entitled to mineral rights, which would include helium. Depends on how the thing is written. A company acting as both service contractor and production sharing partner is still a fairly unusual arrangement, although it is becoming more common with some of the seismic companies. A good example is Input/Output, whose production arm takes a piece of the action. IO makes the best land seismic acquistion equipment in the world and then capitalises on its technological edge by way of DDD Energy. For anyone who is interested in a slightly more conservative investment than NAMX, you might check it out. For the record, I am an investor in IO.

I would have to disagree regarding the importance of production to the company. Cash flow is what this industry is all about. Wells and completions are not cheap. I am terribly afraid that at the present share prices and the company's need for cash infusions, you as investors will be so diluted that nothing short of a very near term unequivocal technological revolution will make much of a difference. Please note that I am sticking my opinion in where I probably should not, as I have no investment in the company. The story is fascinating from both a technical and an investing viewpoint. Hope it works out for you folks.

Regards,

Mike

P.S. Got offered a job (sort of) by some guy over at AXPL a while back. Maybe Paul Ebeling could use a hand <g>.
