I say Zionism is a political movement. Ahh.. but that is a word heavily pregnant with prejudiced inflection against all Israeli Jews.. I submit to you that the hard core Zionists are a minority and not truly representative of the political scene in Israel at this time (nor have they been for many years).. 65% of all Israelis are willing to permit a Palestinian state to form on the West Bank and Gaza. Zionists would not permit that. Thus, 65% of the Israeli population is not "zionist". There are some who may call themselves Zionists for political appeal at home, but they know that it would be extremely difficult for them to justify annexing the West Bank and then invading and annexing their neighboring Arab states. So perhaps you might lighten up on the rhetoric until such a political movement actually presents itself as being the dominant and unrestrained political force in Israel. I am coming to your house tonight, I am going to come to where you rented a place to live from your absentee Turkish Landlord who has recently had ALL OF HIS property confiscated by the police/courts. And even though your claim is only as a squatter, I will generously offer to buy the property from you (since you claim it's yours and you find another place to squat), with permission of the police and local government (including a local political "king" who's property many of your friends and family live with and pay homage to). You will claim that I stole the property from you, even though you never properly "owned" it in the first place. You will find some local thugs from neighboring towns to kick me out (they don't like me anyway), whereupon I will kick all their butts by myself take some of their property from them in order to make my property more defensible, and you will find yourself living as a homeless person in a ghetto because everyone, including your former friends, would rather you be homeless instead of taking you in and giving you a new start and a new place to live.
