I may have to look at it. In my case, I just got from the library Destructive Emotions: How Can we Overcome Them? . It's by Daniel Goleman, the author of Emotional Intelligence, and it's the report of a conference of scientists, philosophers, and Buddhist scholars, supported by the Dalai Lama. Apparently they have done these conferences every few years, seeing whether there is anything Western neuroscientists in particular and Buddhist practicioners can learn from each other. it was well reviewed in Booklist and I want to go look into it.
