some i've read already, some are new to me,
and some were written by poet before she was
so rudely interrupted.

and... as she won't tell you, because she's
too polite... those are analogies & similes,
not metaphors. <simile>

semantics aside, since you shared... i'll do the
same. here's something i found in my email today
from the guy i'm sailing across the gulf of
mejico with 54 daze from now:
