duh- Could you tell me what a syllable exactly is. I always count them wrong... i'd be delighted. a syllable is uuhhh... a syllable is one of the building blocks of the spoken... uuuhh... a syllable is an inner component of uuuhhhh... a syllable is like a molecule in a chemical, uuuhhh... a syllable is uuuhh... look at it this way... if the world was a word, "the united states of america" would be one syllable of that word. hope this helps. -gramma
