That's the point that maybe you're missing. It wasn't devoted to discussing short ideas nor to help anyone. His thread was devoted to one thing and one thing only To promote his $600 x 250-300 persons x's 12 = somewhere around $2,000,000.00 per year site. But he was certain to caution others about SI TOU I wonder how his relationship with SI insiders helped his enterprise? Message 13570285

Anthony@Pacific's Trading Seminar: "Autopsy on Wall Street"
You know the world of selling short is a secretive and closely guarded world and I absolutely believe I have been blessed with a gift and a sense to know what others are "probably" most likely to do. I used to guard what I did with a passion, until my own mother who is an Anesthesiologist lost half of her entire pension in a stock scam. I am determined to turn Wall Street and the NASD upside down and I am an outspoken critic of the NASD and the OTC markets.
I am planning to host a seminar in beautiful San Diego, California, in August 1999. I'm not selling any tapes or other BS, I'm just going to tell you how I do what I do, and how I am so CONSISTENT in extracting a pound of flesh with my trades. I will use real examples and real people to explain how it works, like guests from SEC Enforcement and other pros. We will have a great time as well as learn a great deal..For the first Time I am going to try and verbalize what it is that I do,it will be a gloves off atmosphere and a serious look into the psyche of the trader. You will leave the seminar with an understanding of my strategies and criteria, and know how to identify real trading opportunities.
I'm working on making deals with some of the nicer hotels in town, to make this a full weekend event. I will also be there to spend the evenings for dinner and just to hang out, and then we will have a little party afterwards. Security will be VERY tight, so be prepared to go through metal detectors, etc...
This thread is a place where we can hash out ideas and details for the seminar, to make it the best that it can be. I also recommend that if you have any business oriented teens or college or grad students, that they should come too. It's the best way to be introduced to Wall Street!
You can register to receive information on the seminar at:
beyondata.com
Seating and tickets will be limited, so get on the request list early to try and guarantee a spot. All contact information you provide will be held in the strictest confidence, and NEVER be sold or provided to third parties. See you there! Estimated Cost is between $ 500-$5000 per trader and some nominal amount for spouses and Teens or college kids.. I wont know how much the registration till a final count is tallied ... IT IS A PROFIT NEUTRAL EVENT.. !!! To thank everyone who has given me so much support
Below you will find a link to many sites that are informative about Short Selling in General, I would also like to ask that you post below any and all questions about the seminar and keep them off of the other threads on SI, as a courtesy to others..To submit a request for info you can just click on th e designated link above and posting is not necessary..
