No excuses NEEDED by the GOP?
I.e, if the economy, world terrorism, etc., all go to hell in '04, the GOP says, "It's not my fault!", is that right?
And the solution you proposed was (please correct your text if you wish) one-party totalitarianism and purge of the opposition, which you can't articulate a response to.
Unfortunately, this year the GOP has accountability for all of the many myriad of creative excuses. Now that the GOP controls all branches of gov't, I'd say the time has come.
More totalitarian power? Purge the opposition? I don't think that's going to help, considering what we've gotten so far from the Bush administration: thousands of deaths, destruction of the economy, and more to follow |
