Arnie

Not sure as to your agenda posting news that is 90 days old, and from raging bull at that, but taking an excerpt from the article I would not be overly concerned about the track record of their arson "investigators". Had I had this sort of track record while working, they would have fired me in the first year. LOL

"Sergeant George White of the Suffolk County Police
Department's arson squad said his unit investigated Allou's 1999
fire and estimated damage at $50,000. The cause remains
undetermined, and the department's investigation remains open, he
said. White said the investigation would have been closed if the
department concluded the fire was an accident.
The National Fire Protection Association, a non-profit
organization that does research and training in fire safety,
estimates that in 98 percent of arson fires there are no
convictions."

As Joe stated, Traverlers wrote the policy, Travelers pays the policy, it just a matter of how much and when. Bottom line is that ALU is a mature profit making company, has been from the late 60's.

If, as you have stated on the Yahoo board, think something "seems fishy to me", then don't own the stock.

Respectfully

Ken
