Not sure how that story slipped past the censors at Reverend Moon's UPI . . .

Almost correct, except that this goal of torpedoing the peace process is not a monopoly of the right-wingers in Israel. The Labor Party has been rejecting the PLO's olive branches since the moment they appeared (in 1976).
