good stuff there Roo..almost of KANGA proportions <g>..what are your thoughts on buying from mom and pop shops? Here in Austin there are many , especially near the UT campus, that seem to do a pretty brisk biz...the good thing about dealing with that type of operation is that you have someone to SCREAM at..and get better "service" simply because there is a face behind the name/number. The downside is that often these shops go under and the so-called warranty is now the equivalent of toilet paper

are generic components as good as the namebrands in your opinion?
