I spoke with a friend who works at a startup making telco gear for the Baby Bells. He said there was no (zilch, nada) activity through 2001 and most of 2002. But in the last 2 months of 2002 they've gotten more trails (beta engagements) going than in the last 2 years. No doubt there's no guarantee a trail leads to a revenue opportunity, but at least its happening which is more than what we could say before.

I hope I'm not grasping at straws here but something seems to be stirring up.
