MSFT should get re-valued a lot lower after the dividend announcement and the earnings report...that could mean some serious damage to the Nasdaq too. I just took a look at the "unearned revenue" account...does not look good...big drop in a quarter that should have seen an increase. Could mean serious tankage for MSFT ahead, imho. Unearned revenue account just as important as earnings/revenue for this company and that is why we see no recovery in afterhours trading. When the miss on the top line, they usually have a surge in this balance sheet account BUT this time, they did not! Given the above..I have to say this quote from the CFO is a joke: "declaring a dividend demonstrates the board’s confidence in the company’s long-term growth opportunities and financial strength."
