You are missing the point. There's no leverage in having cash or gold as current assets. The leverage comes from productive capital and debt in an inflationary environment. That's where we are. What does Goldcorp do? Raise the dividend. Good heavens, don't you see that as part of the current promotion? It's what the "street" wants to hear-no debt-pays a dividend-blah, blah-we are good citizens-blah, blah-but it is also no growth and that's the part you're missing. We know why Barrick hasn't gone into new high ground lately but what's the reason for Goldcorp? And, why do they have to highlight parts of the news releases? Its patronizing to think that I can't figure out what's important so they have to "bold" it for us idiots. Please, don't include me. It's really bush league in my view and it means they're probably focused on being good and clean and not mean and hungry. At least Barrick shows its teeth once in a while as the boys there have the bulge in their pants. Stuff I like.
