Guidance for Q1 is $14 million in sales and something between 2-4 cents in earnings. They think Q1 will be ok but nothing great. Cisco revenues are not expected to really kick in until later in the year, Q1 is seasonally weak, and they have also made some changes to their sales organization which will slow them a bit in Q1 but should help later. They have 32 salespeople on staff now and are looking to hire 4-5 more. New CEO is expected to be on board in the next 4-8 weeks.

We will have to see what the impact of the so-so guidance for Q1 is on the stock. In any case, based on comments made in today's conference call, by year end things should be cooking here. They see 4 major opportunities over the next 12 months:
1) frame and atm - new ports, and migration to higher speed equipment
2) migration to IP from frame and atm
3) Cisco
4) international sales

Each of the above 4 areas could be adding between $2 to 5 million to annual sales by year end. Although they don't expect much Cisco revenue in Q1, they are starting to market the products and are very encouraged by customer interest. Steve Hindman referenced "handfuls" of potential customers. So although I'm not sure the stock can do a whole lot more right away I continue to like the long term outlook for VNWK. I have a year end price target range of $7.50 -$10/sh.
