The conservative estimates on CDMA handset sales for the second half of the year must be due to the uncertainty over India. I've been reading every post regarding the Reliance, et al, CDMA WLL roll outs. So far, everything has been hype. No real numbers yet. I'm confident that CDMA WLL will be hugely successful in India but the fact remains that until we see actual numbers, everything is a risk. Why would any CDMA supplier be it QCOM or Samsung put themselves at risk of a lawsuit by predicting great things out of India? Does anyone know when we will hear actual subscriber numbers out of India?

In the GSM market, things are much more predictable due to its maturity.

What I'm most interested in right now is the mysterious GSM provider who has signed the MOU to trial GSM 1x. Why is this announcement taking so long?
