Those kids are pretty creative, aren't they?

Sometimes I fear for our kids. I've been to some of the gradeschools near here. There's a big box with jackets, mittens, and other such belongings that they've just left laying around and nobody bothered to pick up. The walls are lined with examples of class work and there is more difference between the best and worst in the same age range than could be explained by mere intelligence. I don't know what the problem is, but some of the work is embarrassing.
