Oh Dear, New Low on the Dollar....

No comment is necessary, suspect once the first shells start to fall, and especially after the first white flags started to get waived by Iraqi troops, the dollar will rally. Or should Sadam suddenly slip out of town to exile and the price of oil and gold crash, then too I suspect we'd see both a spirited rally in the SM and dollar, as the US' faster prospective growth rate beyond the context of war would be appealing again.

Problem with investing beyond the valley is that in the current set of crises new ones seem to pop up faster than the old ones can get resolved...I think I'll stick with the thought the dollar will be weak to the price of Gold's benefit till I see the "whites of their flags..."

Love it: "I will lead a coalition to disarm Sadam," GW Bush....Exactly how far outside the White House grounds is he going to lead anybody.....??
