I agree with their statement that the best is yet to come. I've always thought that with QCOM the best is yet to come. But "yet" can be a long way away. I still own shares of QCOM that I bought in 1997. That's how long I've been following this company. And I'm STILL waiting for Europe to go CDMA and I'm still waiting for ubiquitous high speed wireless data.

Let's face it, if it weren't for China and India, QCOM would be trading at $10/share.

So, why has it been almost three months and we STILL haven't heard from the mysterious GSM carrier who is going to trial GSM 1x? What are the possible reasons for delay?

Lack of handsets?

Merger/aquisition in the works?

Lack of funds?

Politics?
