Telesp confirms their commitment to CDMA during their CC on the acquisition (around the 4 min mark). I am very glad to hear this....hopefully, the Pegaso overlay is just a moment of insanity by Telefonica. biz.yahoo.com They are also asked about their capex plans with regard to a CDMA overlay of TCO. It sounds like they plan to upgrade the network in Brasilia in the short-term but will move more slowly on the rest TCO's network. It sounded like they wanted to make sure they had coverage in all the major cities but were going to take a wait and see attitude with the rural areas. This is around the 26 minute mark. FWIW....TCO currently has over 3 million customers. Slacker
