SAN DIEGO, Jan. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- The first Antibody conference dedicated exclusively to MAbs in clinical development and their marketing will be held as part of the four-day, four-conference, "Antibody World Summit". The conference is entitled "Antibody Clinical Development & Marketing" and is scheduled to take place in San Diego on February 25-26, announces Strategic Research Institute.

Conference highlights include antibody marketing and clinical cost optimization. Among the featured marketing talks and panels are those on co-marketing, biotech product positioning, branding, lifecycle planning, physician advocacy, and case studies, from IDEC, for example.
Antibody clinical trial cost optimization features sessions on FDA regulatory considerations, commercial planning, intellectual property protection strategies, harnessing physician thought-leadership, CRO relationships, MAb clinical trial protocols, and the unique marketing and clinical trial challenges faced in marketing biologics.
The clinical presentations focus on antibodies in Phase II and III trials. The presentations include presentations by Alexion, Peregrine, Progenics, IDEC, PDL, Abgenix, and Medarex. Therapeutic areas include cardiovascular disease, rheumatoid arthritis, HIV infection, other immune-mediated diseases, malignant glioma, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, colorectal cancer, other cancers, and several infectious diseases.
Receptions, dinners, and other evening gala functions are scheduled during the meeting to foster networking among the many speakers, attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors.
The overall Antibody World Summit, comprised of four meetings held over four days, currently features over 100 speakers and 300 attendees, sponsors and exhibitors.
