bc, ACF is VERY well capitalized now. they raised the better part of $500mm in their recent equity deal. it will take them an exceptionally long time to blow through that money. they are not a bankruptcy candidate anymore, in my opinion. the mistake that say Conseco made was that they did not bite the bullet and do the hugely dilutive EQUITY deal to shore up their finances; ACF did.
