From reading personal accounts written by combat soldiers, I get the impression that there are a lot more incidents than you ever hear of. Most are simply buried on the battlefield and quickly forgotten. Only a very few ever reach the war crimes tribunal or court-martial stage, which is when they get lots of ink and everyone knows about them. The simple fact is that Karen and her ilk are simply anti-American. They would oppose any military action by the US regardless of provocation and even if it could be guaranteed there would be no "incidents". The fact that she is pushing so hard on one incident in the Afghan intervention is ample proof of this, I think. What greater justification for the use of military force could any nation have than 9/11?
