CYMI... featured in August Individual Investor Magazine..Cymer is one of just three companies capable of producing the deep ultraviolet lasers that semi conductor equipment manufacturers need; and last year Cymer controlled 80$ of the embryonic DUV market.. It's sales rocketed to $65 million from 19 million in 1995; it also posted its first substantial profit --$6.5 million and sustained ross margins above 43% for the second consecutive year.

Not surprisingly, Cymer's shares have more than quintupled since its initial public offering price of $9.50 last September.. At a a recent $50, the stock trades at 25 times 1998 earnings estimates of $2 a share.....Cymer's long term growth is forecast to be 40$ or about twice that of its peer group.....Cymer is going to be the fastest growing company in the industry over the next five years.....this whole acceleration of deep-ultraviolet-ligh lithography happened a lot faster than anyone thought it would... Cymer is ramping up to meet demand, but there's still much more demand thatn supply...as a result,...the stock should hit $65 this year, for a p/e multiple of 32 times forecasted 1998 earnings....read the article...

Only thing I can say is CYMI is a good example of an "booming" option that would have made a killing and the reason I started this thread is to try to identify these 'high-flyers' before they've gone into the stratisphere... Buy on pullbacks... :-)
