ItsAllCyclical, I'm counting on option expiration
Notice that the weakest issues seem to be those that have options....which fits with the idea that the weakness late in the day Friday was related to option expiration. I can't ascribe it to anything else, certainly nothing fundamental...If we go sliding through 142 and 140 HUI on Monday, I'll have to come up with some other rationalization for myself...such as January is a seasonal peaking period for metals....I find that one disagreeable ... how could the calendar know anything about fundamentals..???
HUI Weekly....down for the second week in a row...Indicators not showing any positive momentum, action is still "corrective", in my opinion, only. The numbers 142, the 50 day ema, and thus 138 remain important to me....If those go I'll figure the fundamentals have changed, at least those that effect the short term course of things, and I wasn't in the loop....
