I heard last night on the short wave out of Bejing that interest rates may being lowered again in China. I was looking for some press to support this but could not find much. In my opinion the enviroment is turning much more positive than a few weeks ago. Hope to see more buying. Tony BEIJING (July 18) XINHUA - More Chinese depositors are shunning banks and turning to securities with the aim of reaping higher profits, a recent survey shows. This follows the scrapping of a newly-added, index-linked subsidy on April 1, and a cut in the savings deposit interest rate on May 1, today's "People's Daily" reported, quoting the results of the central bank's survey among depositors.
