Affirmative Action - Could you define what the goal is? The way I have commonly seen it is in corporate America. Some 25 or 30 years ago there seemed to be a collective idea that it would be a good idea to integrate the formerly lilly white professions. The managers were given goals with some flexibility to hire minorities. It was on their annual appraisal like every other goal and they either met the goal or explained why they couldn't. In the companies I where I have worked since, which is many of those most well known to y'all, it had not been an issue for a long time. TP
