You mean the same US Armed Forces that got run out of Mogadishu? Planning and execution are great, but this won't be the cakewalk many expect. He'll undoubtedly use his own civillians as a shield, just like Aidid did. Being the all-round good guys that we are, this will slow us down considerably. The occupation won't be a cakewalk, either....maybe one of Saddam's own people will execute him, but hoping for that outcome is not exactly a sound military strategy. You could have hoped for the same fate for Hitler in 1941, or for Castro in 1961 but it's pretty hard to off a despot as paranoid as these guys are.
