This thread seems to have turned into one of those point-counterpoint shows. It's really pretty amusing. Someone cannot live with themselves unless they endeavor to continuously throw cold water on any prospects Valence Technology may have to succeed and meet its objectives. There is, of course, always one of those in every crowd. The rest vigorously challenge all the conclusions that accompany the cold water.
What mystifies me, though, is why someone who has placed Valence waaay down on their list of battery companies keeps hanging around on the Valence thread?? I mean, if I was an investor in, hmmm... General Motors, for example, I sure wouldn't hang around and do my posting on the Toyota thread!
What is the magnet that draws someone who wouldn't own the stock on a bet, to spend their time on this thread? Some deep subconscious admission that Valence actually IS the leading contender, perhaps? A real fear that all these believers may be right?
Well, for those who like to read old clippings from various publications about other companies playing around with other battery technologies, maybe this point-counterpoint game has been interesting. Myself, I don't much care. I'm focused on Valence, I believe in their prospects, and if that were to change the cold water would have to come from them, not from tea leaves being read in all those articles.
Whatever happened to the plans by one of the contestants in this game to go off and play in their own sandbox, anyway?
- Now I didn't use any names, so if anyone feels I'm picking on them, don't fret. Pure coincidence.
