Two questions and a comment with a negative at the end made to nobody in particular.

1. Who is Norman Blake with regard to the musical world?

2. Does anyone know any particulars concerning "Boxtops for Education" on the tops of some General Mills cereals?

Right On. To that I would add to drive the point home, volunteer some time at one of the local animal shelters for those of you who are into volunteerism(who, unlike myself, is into greed and self-distruction). Volunteer on one of the days in which it is time to put the animals "down" because their time is up. I would offer the point that this may account for a huge turnover in regular employees at such places like there is at my community shelter, not to mention the scarcity of funds to not only maintain a sizeable population for a longer time, but also a very good reason why the jobs at such places are often low paying.

I see the gang-bang mentality isn't going to die anytime soon. I am disappointed to see this, but not surprised. So this must mean that the "never never" list is growing. I, personally, am sorry to see this if in fact my perception is correct.
