Lazarus, Your argument is shallow and deceitful. I do indeed lionize the individual. That is why I rail against the manipulative propaganda that has be effectively dimming down the general populace so successfully during the devolution to madness that really took off when Reagan was elected. The media makes a mockery of the "individual" by so ill-informing and disinforming the general public that a true democracy, i.e. a unit of self-rule based on informed decision-making, becomes an impossibility. I ridicule the "public" for allowing itself to be so duped. That is true. But I still find the present method of elites controlling the public by outright lies and deception to be a vile method of governance. Thus, I stand by what I said. Oligarchy sucks and everyman's a king! -Ray
