being careful in my words here, re your comments on Kashmir : At partition time, the brits gave kingdoms in the Indian region (India+Pakistan+Bangladesh) a choice to belong to either India or Pakistan. The king of the Kashmir region chose to be part of India. Just as the Nizam of Hyderabad chose to be part of India.
