I'm proud of our 12 carrier groups, and the presense of U.S. military personnel in 114 countries, and the vast surveillance network in outer space. All this is necessary to protect America's interests across the globe.

As for feeding and housing, that's not the government's responsibility. It is for each able person to work by the sweat of their brow and provide their own food and shelter.

As for educating, that is a matter for the several states. I think the Federal Dept. of Education should be abolished, as it simply spends valuable tax dollars and doesn't educate even one child.

Good night! (thanks to GWB, you can also sleep tight)
