I totally agree with you. Though there ARE successes in inner city schooling, what we are presented with by the media are the failures. And we almost never are presented with the mostly successful non-inner city schools.

My point was only that the public schools are less broken than many people believe they are, and private schools are screwed up too, but we don't hear about it as much. Several for profit schools have taken over in inner city areas only to fail. Surprise surprise.
