In relation to the market, I believe that Iraq is a blip on them chart regardless of outcome. The market has things to take care of that are unrelated to geopolitical events. I don't mean to minimize the importance of what is going on in Iraq, but I think it is a mistake to think that it is either the cause for market weakness or that it will cause anything but a momentary change in direction in the market.

I feel the same about the events of 9/11.
